Oh my God! I could not have believed that this sort of unethical marketing happens online. They hacked  into my Yahoo! Mail account and sent spam mails to all my contacts, posting links of Viagra and other Drug Stores as though I was the one that sent them. If you are in my contact list, you must have received one or two of these e-mails this morning between 11:50a.m to 4:30p.m (GMT).

Worse still, they maliciously deleted every message in my Sent Box from 2008 to date after impersonating me via e-mail. But must we do business with this sort of bitterness of heart? I believe that anyone that behaves like these guys whether in business or otherwise lacks integrity. What do you think?

    Hi Nkem,

Saying they lack integrity is putting it mildly. Criminal is the correct word and if caught could be put in jail. If you haven’t already reported this to Yahoo, please do.

If you can find out from Yahoo, how they hacked it, you can better prevent this from happening again. For instance a weak password can be made better.

    All the best,

I have reported to SpamCop and will do the same to Yahoo!.
